Electrolytes

Electrolytes are charged particles that perform important functions in our body. Imagine your body as a kind of battery - electrolytes are the "battery fluid" in this case. They enable the transmission of electrical impulses and are therefore essential for many bodily functions. They are the main components of our bones and teeth and ensure their strength. Calcium also plays an important role in the transmission of nerve impulses, muscle contraction and blood clotting. A sufficient calcium level is therefore essential for a healthy bone structure and the smooth functioning of our body.

The most important are: potassium, calcium, sodium, magnesium

Vitamin D + K

Vitamin D and K are two fat-soluble vitamins that work closely together to keep our bodies healthy. They are particularly essential for bone formation. Vitamin D supports the absorption of calcium from food, a mineral that is essential for strong bones. Vitamin K, on the other hand, ensures that the calcium absorbed is stored in the right places in the bones and not deposited in undesirable places, such as in the arteries.

In addition to their important role in bone formation, vitamins D and K are also involved in regulating calcium levels and play a role in healthy muscle and nerve function. A deficiency in these vitamins can therefore lead to various health problems and can manifest itself in tiredness or fatigue, for example.
